KH2: Paine

Finally finished with this model, with some instructuctions. Thanks Kaizo for helping out on the layout!

2 down, 1 to go. Rikku's next, possibly in 2-3 weeks, depending on how lazy I am.

I also have plans for making Duodecim's Vaan, even though I was quite certain I wasn't going to be doing any. XD

NOTE: I made a huge mistake with her cape-- the part on the right goes under her arm, not over it.

KH2: Yuna

Photobucket
Get it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?92e5ccmv4wl2wmn

It's been so long since i actually did papercraft. Aaron's lovely Dissidia Duodecim crafts certainly got the itch back in.

Anyway, I've been meaning to do a model of Yuna for a while, after seeing the gorgeous gigantic HD pepakura of gunner Yuna by Jouzu. Yuna is one of my favourite FF babes. :3

Planning on doing Rikku and Paine right now, so it's a complete set.

Note: There aren't any written instructions for this, since it's a project to get me back into crafting. It's not hard though, just build sensibly from the bottom up and refer to the PDO for where to stick the bits of her hair. The head, including her 'tail' should be built as a seperate unit and glued on last, to save you the finicky heart ache of sealing the model otherwise.

Cloud by Ninjatoes

Download the template here!

I had to make Cloud, I had to. FF7 provided me hours and hours of entertainment, (as did Kingdom Hearts), especially trying to get all the stuff like Omni Slash and W-summon.

And I suppose, making him dress as a girl...

*ahem*

This is a really gorgeous template by Ninjatoes. The size is manageablely small, yet large enough to not make you completely give up at the details. The most fun part of construction is the hands!

He now stands proudly guarding my... uhh TV. Watching me make more crafts.

The first pepakura I did this year

... Was Fezco's Tonberry. He's so cute. I'd cuddle him if he hadn't been made from typing paper and school glue.

I wasn't being very serious when I made him, so typing paper and a near dead glue stick was all I had. Second papercraft I ever ever made and he really got the ball rolling. XD The lamp is just precious.

The quality of the layout is apparent once you download it-- I wasn't using instructions (were there any? I can't recall.) but just the print out and the PDO for construction. T_T mmm so logical.

...now if I can only find my first pepakura (Jack Frost from Atlus) but I suspect he didn't survive when I moved places in 2004. :(
